Association for Computing Machinery

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is the world's largest educational and scientific computing society. Founded in 1947, ACM brings together computing educators, researchers, and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources, and address the field's challenges.

As the world's largest computing society, ACM strengthens the profession's collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and recognition of technical excellence. ACM supports the professional growth of its members by providing opportunities for life-long learning, career development, and professional networking.

The ACM Student Chapter at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus was established to create a community of students passionate about computing and technology. Our chapter serves as a hub for technical activities, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

We organize a variety of events throughout the academic year, including workshops, hackathons, technical talks, and coding competitions. These events provide opportunities for students to enhance their skills, explore new technologies, and connect with industry professionals.
